To us green tourism is not a product to be tagged on to a holiday it is integral to the way we run the Old Chapel Forge. Our aspiration and aim is to offer our guests a 'green tourism' experience. Through every aspect of your stay we strive to use environmentally friendly alternatives whether it is our use of solar panels for water heating or indeed the fact we try to use only organic and locally produced food.

Providing sustainable green tourism to West Sussex is paramount to us. We have close links to local farmers who provide us with food of highest quality. We promote Chichester and its surrounding area, and its many historical points of interest. For ideas please see our 'Things do to' page.

We are members of the Green Business Scheme www.green-business.co.uk and our efforts have been rewarded by being winners of the Tourism South East green tourism award 2006, a International Green Apple Award 2006 & a West Sussex Design & Build Award 2006. We are also members of Hospitable Climates; the green tourism arm of the Hotel Catering Managers Association (HCIMA) and work within the Hospitality Industry as a consultant striving to make green Tourism a realality.
